| Larson's Cabin is for Rent: Our cabin is located in the heart of the beautiful Whitewater River Valley in Elba, Minnesota. With a spectacular view of the Elba Firetower which was recently added to the National Register of Historic Lookouts, this cabin sleeps up to six people. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, cookware and dinnerware. A Weber grill is provided for your use, as well. The cabin has a wood burning fireplace in the living room and a 3/4 bath. Come and enjoy the great outdoors or just a cozy quiet getaway in front of a warm fireplace. Enjoy our big lawn, horseshoe pit, and campfire ring, or just relax out on the covered porch. |

Right out the door lies 28,000 acres of State Wildlife Management Area where you can hunt for wild turkey, ducks, geese, grouse, pheasant, squirrel and rabbit. Try your luck at bagging one of our famous jumbo corn-fed whitetail deer during either the bow and arrow, firearm or muzzle-loader seasons. A short walk or drive will lead you to 210 miles of great trout fishing in the Whitewater and its tributaries, long known for its abundance of brown, rainbow and brook trout. |
Morel mushrooms and wild ginseng are also native to the surrounding bluffs and can be harvested in season. Just five minutes away is Whitewater State Park which offers a swimming beach, hiking and skiing trails, camping, a nature center, and a Nature Store. A fifteen minute drive will take you to golf courses in either St. Charles or Plainview. In the winter, enjoy cross country skiing either at the State Park, or be adventurous and break your own trail on the many miles of logging trails throughout the valley.
